At the IT Administration, we work together and closely with the client on development, technology, and high-quality deliveries. Our deliveries involve the operation, administration, development, and support of various IT services throughout the organization. The IT Healthcare Systems unit is part of Region Gävleborg's IT Administration, and our mission is to administer and ensure that our healthcare systems function optimally and are adapted to the needs of the operations. This includes both the administration and development of existing healthcare systems as well as the introduction of new ones.

Job Responsibilities

As a System Administrator, you have system responsibility where you, together with colleagues, are responsible for ensuring the administration and development of a number of integrated healthcare systems. You will become an important link between the IT Administration, the operations, and suppliers, where you both drive projects and create user-friendly and secure solutions that make everyday life easier for our users. The role also involves participating in the work to develop and build up the unit's working methods, processes, and routines.

Your main responsibilities

• Administer systems according to decisions, laws, plans, agreements, and processes.
• Plan, test, and verify systems in connection with development and upgrades.
• Participate in the development of modules, functions, and systems, both internally and together with suppliers.
• Create user-friendly training materials, manuals, and routine descriptions.
• Drive projects within the object, from planning to implementation and follow-up.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have the ability to lead and drive your work tasks forward, both independently and together with others. You work in a structured manner and can plan, prioritize, and create order even when several systems, processes, and stakeholders are involved. As a person, you are social and curious, and you thrive in an environment where collaboration, dialogue, and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life. You are flexible and can quickly adapt when new requirements or conditions arise. With clear drive and a solution-oriented approach, you take initiative and see opportunities for improvement regardless of whether it involves developing routines, suggesting system improvements, or contributing to the ongoing digital transformation in healthcare.

In the role of System Administrator, you should:

• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Hold a Category B driver's license.

For this position, it is meritorious if you have experience in system administration, IT administration, or change management. Experience of working within healthcare is also meritorious.
